Senegal prides itself on its success in keeping the HIV/AIDS prevalence rate in the country at a comparatively low one per cent of the adult population. But there is one sector of the community, where the government's campaign has an uphill battle ahead: prostitution accounts for the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases in Senegal.
