Although the goal of a December 31 peace agreement in Sudan has been missed, the government of Sudan and the rebel Sudan People's Liberation Movement and Army (SPLM/A) have "proved" their seriousness by reaching agreement on wealth-sharing, Acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Charles Snyder, told reporters Thursday.
