Efforts undertaken by the interior minister, General Evariste Ndashimiye, to reconcile Aloys Rubuka, the leader of Uprona with his assistant Antoine Cishahayo have failed. These two leaders of Uprona cannot agree on a date to hold a meeting aimed at finding a solution to the central issue that is dividing the party.
