Women leaders of the United Nations welcomed the launch of a global campaign to eliminate maternal and child deaths around the world. Called Deliver Now for Women + Children, the effort was unveiled by the Prime Minister of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, who pledged $1 billion to the cause.
