I am very much concerned with the high number of women who seek post
abortion care.The victims are really need help psychologically, physically,
emotionally and spiritually. To sum up the numbers from all hospitals
Lilongwe, Blantyre and Zomba the figure is 6,801. They need deep counseling
of post abortion trauma of spiritually physically and psychologically.
I am against the Agreement of Termination Act because of these three
reasons.
1. I am a christian and i am pro-life.Exodus 20:13 ''Thou shalt not kill''.
Everyone involved in any activity be it legal with the government or
illegal in secret at the end of their life they will be answerable before
the King of Kings LORD JESUS CHRIST. LORD Himself clearly says in His Word
that 'Thous shalt not kill' (Ex.20 :13)The . Anybody who transgress this
law will be answerable to the Creator of life himself. And this mind you
will not only affect the doers only , but all the nation will be affected
leaders inclusive in the forefront.
2. The consequences of agreed termination act will be more than the current
situation because I am afraid of increased sexually transmitted diseases
HIV/Aids pandemic and promiscuity of teenagers and also possibility of
death.
3.. Killing or taking one's life by deliberate act, was faced by killing
again for none is to take somebody's life accept for God Himself the giver
of life (Psalm139:13-16).Let us know Malawians that our Country was
founded upon Christian principles whereby each individual is to live by
God's standards. That's why some of the chronic problems we are having are
as a result of our digression from these Biblical principles to govern us.
If God sent His Son to die for us sinners so that we don't face death, who
are we that we should advocate for the killing of innocent children? When
we obey, we are imitating Him who is our Rescuer and Defender (Proverbs
24:11). It is a sin to perform abortions, just as it is a sin to have an
abortion, but both of these are pardonable by the blood of Christ.
