Mr Mwai Kibaki is not serious sending his men running around seeking help from leaders in the east african region when his actions at home is anything but reconciliatory. Naming his cabinet just ahead of John Kuoffors arrival to mediate throws cold water on any such efforts. Its is obvious Kibaki is not interested in any negotiated settlement of the Kenyan crisis. His actions are clear pointers to his intentions. Hasn't he got the hard skin reqwuired to ride out the storm while kenyan blood flows having got what he and his cohoprts wanted so badly - a second five year term in government!

Iam from the border of Kenya and Uganda i experience the suffering Ugandans undergo,no democracy,no freedom of expression.Museveni will rule till he dies, first he believes that he's the only man capable of leading Abaganda. Therefore Kibaki is looking to breach our democracy by consulting Museveni on how to silence us by applying those dictatorial techniques Museveni Uses.

I;do'nt conquar with the above commment. because cubas president is now completing 50years in the office but the country still enjoys friuts of peace.so president Musevens long term in office is an isue .the isue is peace priviling in uganda?so the change or the term limit how did it help in Kenyan politics.look at what is hapening in Kenya today. What i'think is one does peace privile no matter how long the person has stayed in power.
