The story of a 12-year-old girl stabbed by her 14-year-old neighbour just because their parents supported different presidential candidates in the Dec. 27 elections will hardly make headlines here. Neither will the story of a woman in President Mwai Kibaki's backyard sheltering about 100 workers who have fled the post-election violence.

It is hats off for your wonderful intiative for balance reporting or better still as you put for bringing that other side that tells a different story. Bringing to light the untold stories and actions is a major step in understanding what the Kenyan people want rather than just listening to leaders who seem to see a different Kenya based narrowly on their own interests. Yes the media need to take its responsibility. Keep up.
