While it is sad and unfortunate that Nigeria lost the quarter finals tango with Ghana, it helps to laugh at our failures as a way of coping. The other side of that laughter is that we must continue to try without giving up.

I have no doubts that the Eagles will rise again, and if there is no ressurrection in the afterlife of football, they will certainly be re-incarnated--this much we know.

Watching the game closely,the name Super Eagles means nothing to the players because right from the start of the game no one eagle was on the pitch.
