Unidentified people shot a trader of Nyeshenza in Cibitoke province yesterday. The victim was seriously wounded. He is currently in the hospital in Bujumbura. Despite the escalating trend of violence in Burundi, the President of the Republic, Pierre Nkurunziza, who is touring the United States, says that Burundi is secure.
