The parliamentary group of Mozambique's main opposition party, the former rebel movement Renamo, is seeking to have an article in the law on provincial assemblies declared unconstitutional - even though Renamo voted in favour of this law when it was debated in the country's parliament, the Assembly of the Republic, in November 2006.
