Somali interim president Abdullahi Yusuf, has received an invitation from Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, to attend the upcoming Arab Summit, in Damascus, in March.Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, who is also known as Abu Mazen, received a similar letter from Mr. Assad, in which he was vigorously encouraged to participate in the upcoming summit.
