You should be proud of yourselves. That’s the best I have ever heard so far
in this debate.
That is exactly what Kenya needs RIGHT NOW ! It is imperative that the
People of Kenya can find a body that they can look up to with trust and
faith. Something that can give them hope for the future. This group of
people can not be biased and as such part of the Kenyan establishment. What
you need is help from external mediators from Europe or elsewhere, a group
free from colonial master ideas. Also I think it is important that you will
choose people from countries with little or no economical interest I Kenyan
industry. There are lots of people from countries that have managed to stay
out of major conflicts the last century, i.e. being stained. You need legal
scholars (supported by international law like The Hague) as well as
educated people in other areas to make this reconciliation work. There is
nothing that says that non biased Kenyans couldn’t be in a counselling
position to this reconciliation body. But the final decision making should
stay away from Kenyans. Also it is of course imperative that they will be
given power enough to implement their rulings otherwise it will just be
another dead end. And that my friends, might just be the LAST ONE. Kenya
can not afford another major failure.
THIS IS A CAUSE WELL WORTH FIGHTING FOR, with peaceful means of course.
