Don't take things for granted! Not everyone who sings in Uganda today will be famous. While Reggae/Ragga, RnB, Afro-beat and Kadongo-Kamu continue to garner a following domestically, Hip-Hop music or rap is stagnant.

Thanks for this article I actually wrote about it in a paper for a class of mine. This is a wonderful program for them to be establishing. I only hope that it continues to grow and thrive in order to help improve the lives of people who need it. I agree with you, if their demographic is the ‘urban youth’ there is no reason other than politics and stubborn philosophy that there is not a radio station for them yet.
