i'm not expecting much to happen in the judgement because it's the same old folks doing the same old shit over and over again and finally u expect miracle to happen? No way.The judiciary is being controlled by the same government of president Yar'Adua that was built upon massive irregularities, denying the good peole of Nigeria their mandate.Infact let's wait and see where the country is headind to with this their masquereded kind of democracy.
If Yar`Adua believes in Rule of Law, Justice & Fairplay he should resign. You cannot enter the Aso-rock through election irregularity, manipulation, falsification & want Nigerians to appreciate & respect you. No. You,I,Yar`Adua and every Nigerian knows that the election was far cry from being free, talkless of fair. The promblem with Nigerians is,they cannot say,I hereby resign. If Mr.President can do this,Resign,Conduct a free & fair election, not only is he going to win.He will also command the total respect & regard of every Nigerian. You,I & international community will respect him. This is going to be News and the best thing that can ever happen to him & Nigeria.

The atmosphere while awaiting the ruling of the Election Tribunal is a semblance of what it was in 1966/7 as our leaders went to Aburi Ghana in search of peace. The outcome of the accord would have saved Nigeria had the so called leadership implemented it.
Again Nigeria is faced with a moment of truth to our national unity and growth if the Election Tribunal did the right. The opinion poll conducted to 1,000 Nigerians, about 75% felt that it was going to de-ja vu all over again but 25% said that they had faith in the Tribunal judging from recent judgments. If the Nigerian feelings and concerns were taken into account base on the squalid election conducted on April 21, 2007 the over all opinion was to nullify the election, establish an interim government and call for a fresh election. Without this out come, Nigerians will not believe the Executive and the Judiciary to be credible the wave continues.
Yar'Adua is an enlightened leader, a fresh breath of air from the obasanjo era. I'm happy to see that not even the president is untouchable in Nigeria today, and that, ironically Yar'Adua's quest to bring the rule of law is succeeding, so much so that he's on trial hahaha.
LETS DO IT RIGHT FOR ONCE Its no longer news that the April general election in Nigeria was beclouded with maximal election irregularities unprecedented in the history of this country. What may be news is that Nigeria is capable of making right what went wrong. Yar'Adua has boasted at several fora that if his election is nulified, that he will quit the state house the same day. That will be another great news if it ever comes to past. Anyway, while stating expressly that the president has proved to be a man who seem focussed and willing to take this country to great heights, an upright and a man who has respect for the law an judiciary, there is no justification whatsoever for us to fold our arms and allow illegality to thrive. As long as his entrance into the Aso Rock was associated with gross electoral irregularities, his stay there will continue to be ilegal. If a change is ever possible as it seems today, then lets put this country back on the track of progress and make it now, and fast too, for procrastination is the thief of time. Am sure that like yours truly, if a re-election becomes the alternative, Yar'Adua will be returned back to the state house, but this time in a free and fair election. Its our opportunity, lets prove to the outside world that something good can come out of Nigeria. Lets do it right for once. Dr. Wilson A ovienria. UBTH, Benin City.
