As I walked through the doors of the THISDAY Dome, on Alfred Rewane Road (former Kingsway Road), in Ikoyi, Lagos, last Sunday, February 17, the simple conclusion that came to me was that indeed we are the salt of the world. It was unthinkable that just the week before, that venue was nothing but mere rubble, a wasteland, pending the time the owners would decide what to do with it.
