Now haters and tribalists can be put to rest. We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL! CONGRATULATIONS THE PEOPLE OF KENYA, CONGRATULATIONS MWAI KIBAKI, and CONGRATULATIONS RAILA ODINGA ON THIS VERY IMPORTANT OCASSION AS YOU SHARE THE JOY BROUGHT ABOUT BY YOUR RESELIENCE, VISION, AND SACRIFICE. Of course you still are going to encounter hudles, but let us show the world indeed, Kenyans are not like any other. We are a real model of meaningful change FOR THE BENEFIT OF every single Kenyan irrispective of tribe, religion or color.
I know something needed to be done following all of the post election violence that occurred. But is this the right course? Did we not see the same situation in Sudan? Two rival factions separated by differences joined under a coalition Government. I know there are extenuating circumstances that make it different, i.e. civil war in Sudan, but the simple fact is that this coalition failed miserably. I hope Odinga and Kibaki can settle their differences and see the better future they can provide Kenya with if they both make concessions, but the idea still worries me. There was just such animosity between them throughout December and January, can something like this really solve all that deep seated hatred?
I hate to sound so critical I am just afraid I see it this way. Please tell me how I am wrong, becuase I want to be.
i think all that has been going on in kenya is personal interest and not public interest. what will ever pay the number of pple who have lost their lives, yet Raila feels that if his personal demands arent met there's going to be more mass acts affecting the coumtries economy. the poor continue to suffer. the politicians continue to build their kingdoms in the name of kenyas want this or that. it is time for aspiring future leaders to think of kenya as a nation en not a place for one to loot as much as he can in the name of the kenyan citizen who continues to suffer inspite of all that has been done since genesis.
KENYANS LEADERS HAVE PROVED THAT THEY'RE PUTTING THEIR PERSONAL AMBITIONS ASIDE AND PUT THE COMMON MWANANCHIS' FIRST.I PERSONALLY SAY THANK YOU OUR LEADERS FOR BRINGING PEACE TO UOR COUNTRY ONCE MORE AGAIN.I SALUTE WITH HONOR TO ANNAN AND HIS EMINENT LEADERS FOR THEIT TIRELESS EFFORT TO BRING THE DIVERSE MINDS OF OUR LEAADERS TOGETHER.THANK YOU GOD,THANK YOU KENYA. VINY
THERE WE ARE. GOD LOVES KENYA. WITH ALL THAT WE HAVE GONE THROUGH, HE STOOD WITH US AND ONCE MORE WE STAND AS AN EXAMPLE WORTH IMITATION. BRAVO DR ANNAN, AND H.E. KIKWETE. MAY YOU LIVE LONG. ALSO THANKS TO H.E. KIBAKI AND HON RAILA. YOU HAVE SHOWN THE WORLD WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MATURE LEADER. GOD BLESS KENYA.
Let us give all the glory to God for finally delivering His beautiful Nation, and ushering it into prospects of great prosperity, for His glory. Let us thank Him mightly for using Dr. Anann selflessly with his dedicated team in such a wonderful way to broker peace. Is it really too early for us to recommend a nobel peace prize at this time?
The decision by the two parties to reach an ageement is highly welcome but signing is one thing and implimenting is another.we know that Kibaki is notorious for not honouring his pledges and agreement with people (following the dishonour of the m.o.u. and the IPPG agreement and many others) let him know that this time round, its a matter of life and death. I'm sure that the incoming prime minister His Excelency Raila Amollo Odinga is commited and will honour the agreement.rem, he won the election but it was stolen from him.Agreeing to share with KIBAKI his win is like a farmer sharing his stolen mangoes with a thief.but we have accepted it.good luck KENYA!!!!
