Mozambican President Armando Guebuza has sacked three ministers and demoted a fourth, in the most significant government changes since he was sworn into office in February 2005.
The dynamics in Mozambique are so complicated and people can ask why the president sacked three ministers at same time?!... The country is facing serious problems and there is a need of acelerating the implementation of the five years plan of action of government which focus in poverty reduction and combat of corruption. The Ministers sacked recently did all their best, but in a country full of problem, people wants to see problems solved immediately. I think that the former ministers can be very useful in others spheres, because they are committed with the development of Mozambique and all them are very good resource persons. I would like to congratulate them for the efforts they did and encourage them to fight for the economic growth of Mozambique and strengthening of democracy.
