Je m'excuse de répondre en englais car je pense que je pourrais m'exprime mieux.

I do believe that it is time for african writers to really reconsider what they say sometimes, it is time to slow down a bit!! i dont believe that their writings have affected the society at all.. and you wonder was was the point? to tell to the coloniser the things he knows you know already??? we need to understnad that phase is gone!! lets move to the next chapitre!!!

Yes, I totallly agree "the big audience" or "the better audience is "western audience" for your writings and if we think in terms money, yes, you better use the modern languages.. thats the reason on ne peut pas avancer, we underestimate ourselves, the educated ones underestimate the poor uneducated african and yet they use them for their own interest inany form you want to look at...

it is hard to believe that the beautiful continent, the source of human kind and the source of major legend has rarely much to offer to human kind..

so, please dont tell us that we cant write in our languages because it lucks of grammars or other things...

we still have along way to go before we go back and rexamine ourselves!!! I rather read the bible that teachs us to respect the amn kind rather than reading this sort of article which open the wounds.. and gives some people a tick

hope to hear your comments on this?
