Again another one has come up !!! Hon Abunaw just doesn't even reflect before opting to side with his mentor. I don't even doubt it because she was first of all in the UNDP party and had to change wings to the CPDM just for her personal reasons.

If she says " I think the president is elected by universal suffage as paliamentarian and she sees it good that the limits should be erased under a revision, why then since her stay at the glass house has she not brought up that point? The constitution clearly limits the mandates of a president to 2 and it doesn't limit that of the paliamentarians. This is just potraying the naivity of some of our representatives in the glass house.

I will advice you Hon ,madam that those very trickish ministers don't respond to questions directly, because the Cameroonian has now grown to age and pricks you where you can't tell a lie. Next time get a lawyer as an advicer. I should give you some models in the government who are doing just what they know. (1)Dion Ngute (2)Maurice Kamto (3)Bape Bapes. You will never hear them talk foolish or sound supportive to a regime the know very well isn't doing it's work.

Spare us from the paroles of the stooges. From all the positions that Manyu has been holding in government from the days of Ahidjo till date, this province( and Manyu in particular) would have been one of the most enviable in Cameron. Never mind sis, just an advice. The country is soon going to change as you can see and there will be no hiding place for some who are against the evolution of things. All what you people say is been recorded and will be used against most of you. Look at South Africa today !!! No one thought the aparthied would be crushed. Hope you got me !! I can't fight but can write till when babylon will be overthrown

My friends,

I am as disgusted by the assertions made by Abunaw and permit me say the following.

1) That Rose Abunaw belongs to that group of heartless and ruthless self-indulging Cameroonian politicians who see politics as a means of survival.

2) That she is by no means representing the people of Manyu (the bags of rice given to wet the lips of the dying Manyu citizens is no guarantee) of your support for the Mamfe man.

3) That I recently traveled to Cameroon and can assure you the Manyu man has no place in the political diatribe of Cameroon. Abunaw started her political career under the UNDP and came to fame through the exigencies of Bouba and the rest.

4) That subsequent to her party (UNDP) being dragged to mud in Manyu, Abunaw crossed the carpet to the CPDM and now she so claims Biya is their candidate for life. Knowing fully well how it all plays out when you are a woman in politics, she again rose to fame under the CPDM banner 9who knows why).

5) That let’s not forget that Biya has already been warned and we’ll do all in our powers to see that Biya and his sub-ordinates like Abunaw and those politicians who have reaped Cameroonians of its national treasure are brought to justice.

Abunaw should refrain from making assertions inter-alia other sub-Saharan African countries. Cameroon is no better of than any of those countries. Cameroon would be better off after paying the price of peace as did Ivory Coast, Congo (Zaire), Liberia, Sierra Leone etc.

We are watching the events unfold from Yaoundé; rest assured we’ve had enough of the corrupt scheme in the Cameroonian government and esp. the politicians like Abunaw who without any remorse will characterize their shameless and empty vessels in the hopes of support for Biya and staying in power.

As Biya packs to exit Etoudi in 2011, so will Abunaw back to Mamfe.

We need young dynamic, trustworthy Cameroonians who can account and bring to justice all the corrupt politicians and the Mafia club.

This is one of the most bizzare and stupid response to an issue considered to be so important to the entire nation. Madam Abunaw Rose so called, i wonder whether you need a reality check. How can you so shamelessly stand up and say with any fear or reservation that yopu are the mouth piece of the people of Manyu? In a country where you say democracy exisit you call the President the leader of the ship. I am so saddened by utterances like this, You of the CPDM are not MP's today because you won the peoples vote its because you have a stronger and better machinery well synchronised to rig elections. I can bet you Rose if you are yet not aware of it as of now, let your government have a free and fair elections over anything whatsoever in that country, the results would not only be a loss for the CPDM but a humilating and degrading defeat which will tell you guys how disgruntled Cameroonians are. 25 years of misery must come to an end. You should throw away your selfishness and put the interest of the people first. Look at the south West province, its the most under developed province in that country, Manyu is even the worse Division yet you claim the people are willing to let a dictator who have shown the people of Manyu nothing but underdevelopment? Get real Rose. When you rise up in public, its better you speak sense of stay quiet rather than say thrash and make peoples minds boil with furor. The day shall come when you or your kids would answer for all your deeds because you are mortgaging the future of generations to come

For some unknown reasons after more than two decades in power Biya feels that he still can do something for the country. This is an insult to the people of Cameroon or Kamerun. The constitution as it stands does not allow him to run again and he should leave it and the office when his term expires. Obansanjo tried and failed in Nigeria this should serve as a lesson to Biya. Those who want to perpetuate this regime are very short sighted. Biya's departure who open the door to others to compete in an open system because there won't be any incumbant rigging the system as usual and that's what scares the hell out of the so-called proponents of the constitutional change. They are running scared instead of presenting their own ideas for the future of the country. The reason, I suspect is that they have nothing to offer to the country and would fail miserably left to their devices. Hiding behind Biya is the only way for them to be where they are today.

"I am in total support of the revision or the modernisation, as I can call it, of the constitution because some sections of it are already obsolete and need to be modernised or revised to keep up with the happenings of our modern world."

Since Cameroon's constitution was written in the Middle Ages, that is, in the 1990s, it is now time for it to be "modernized." I wonder whether this woman is listening to herself. Did Ms. Abunaw attend school? It is amazing what sycophancy will do to a person. Women used to be the moral voices of their societies. Now, some Cameroon women simply stupefy me with the dexterity with which they lie to themselves. Probably they have learned their lessons well from their corrupt and corrupting husbands.

The reason why Cameroonians have suffered and continue to suffer is because of such parliamentarians as Hon Abunaw Makia. She has lost touch with the realities of the situation on the ground and has become insensitive to the conditions of even her own constituents. What an insult to the Cameroon people. Paul Biya has been in power for 25 years and has hurt the Cameroonian economy and its beautiful people. What is left for him to do to show that he has the interest of the people at heart. She confuses herself with the concept of democracy when she knows just too well that the ballot box idea that she talks about is fraud from the get go. She cannot pretend that she does not know that even the elections that send her into parliament is now also questionable. What took place a few weeks ago was a child's play. She must begin to think which country she and those beggars who constitute Paul Biya's parliament will seek political asylum for the day of reckoning is hear.

Crazy woman isnt it? Abunaw's is the kind of voice that should be used in rice farms to scare birds away and not in parliament. I am shocked that she even does not understand the constitution under which she is a stooge. Dont blame her, she is just part of a drug cartel seconded only by the taliban. Dont worry ma'am, we're on our way. And oh, tell your boss ; 'Macbeth did not go to the forest, now the forest is coming to him.' The Black Dragon

Although it will be nice to have a life president in Cameroon, I thing that CPDM militants should stop giving the impression that Cameroon will end after president Biya. If late president Ahijo did not prepare Mr. Biya to succeed him how could the CNU-CPDM have had Mr. Biya as head of state? CPDM militants should concentrate on seeing how Cameroon can forge ahead with or without Mr. Biya and stop making a fool of Cameroonians. Today they say Parliamentarians can change the constitution because they represent the people, maybe tomorrow parliamentarians will be the ones to vote for the president for the same reason. Please give us a brake and do not sent this beautiful country to war.
