The United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad (MINURCAT) has signed a status of mission agreement with Chadian authorities that will establish the legal principles under which the operation will run in the strife-torn African country.

I think this is an excellent article, and I hope they keep covering this situation. I just found a site dedicated completely to chad - www.chadnow.com - and I would recommend it to anyone else interested in Chad. It has helped me in considering travel to Chad, and also learning about N'Djamena.
