The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) adjudged last month that Father Athanase Seromba "was not merely an aider and abetter" between the 6 and 20 April 1994 in the Church of Nyange as stated by the first instance Chamber, "but became a principal perpetrator in the crime itself".
