Rwanda's president Paul Kagame has said the recent indictments issued by a Spanish judge against 40 senior Rwandan army officers 'means nothing' to him and his government.
Kagame is not like Mobutu or Taylor, You may have some reasons to hate him, but it's obvious that Kagame is one of the people African continent needs. Rwanda now is developing quickly and it's one of the safest place in Africa even in the world. Everybody made mistake may be Kagame did some mistake, but As an African I'm proud of a leader like him.
Paul Kagame is certainly the only living president of a country who can say so uncommon words " Go to hell". Why? He has to be polite sometimes even if he can not help himself!
But you have your own reasons to be proud for a such african president. ................
I strongly disagree with those who oppose President Kagame regarding this issue. Mr President you're very right. The spanish Judge did not intervene when the million of rwandans people were dying but now when people starting to stand on thier own feet that's when this judge's up to destroy the rwanda's hope.Mr. President am on your side.I am also tied of those judges such french judge and anyone who want to rule rwanda as they did before. They must know that Rwandans are educated too and also some of them are judges too. There is no jurdication for spanish and french judges in Rwanda. If these judges have any problem with that, they should press the charges in Rwandan court.
There`s undoubtedly no question that Africa needs some strong minded leaders, but on the other hand we don`t need idiots. "Between brother and friend, the choice is clear". This seems to escape a few "African Heros" and unfortunately Kagame happens to be on that list of those rather cluesless Western Protégés. Does he really think that some judge in Spain sat down and made up something like that? Seriously !!!
He should learn diplomacy today, especially now that even some of his close body guards denounce here and there his attrocities!
I AM HAPPY AND I AM PROUD HOW KIGAMI REPLY BECAUSE THIS THEY CALL THEM BIG POWERS THEY ARE PALYING GAMES ON AFRICA PLS WE NEED STRONG AFRICAN LEADERS TO STAND FOR OUR RIGHT.
BRAVO BRAVO KIGAMI GODBLESS YOU AND PROTECT YOU FROM THIS EVIL WHITES
The loudness of the dog will never stop a train moving. Mr president, I wish all african leaders would see what you are seeing (the future or Africa). We need to stand up and stay tronger and lift up our countinent higher. Shame on those (africans)who still want to kiss the europeans butt. I am no against the western countries but what they did to us in the past is enough. Mr Kagame just show us the way, we are behind you and we trust you. I am African and proud of it.

It is true that some Africans are still kissing the European back, however, Kagame's no exception. When He talks to the British or the US who uplifted him to power he can't dare use such a primitive tone. He may sound "heroic" by taking on a judge, but he should know by now that Saddam, Mobutu, AND MANY others have stepped exactly in the same trap. I am so sad that some people here even think this guy is a hero! U kno no damn. I am a survivor of his man hunt and I know what I am talking about. Google "Lt Ruyenzi" or "Ruzibiza", . . .HE'S A BLOOD THIRSTY criminal!!
Now the man of no nonsence is creating nonsence. is this not the president who moves up and down finding people who participeted in genocide? how come that he not willing to see some being taken to court? only those who oppose him are the ones who did the genocide but not those near by him. if the spanish judge was a rwandees his name would appear among those who did genocide, or he is likely to face the problems that france faced after rising the same issue. kagame, any one who shed blood in rwanda will face justice. the voice of inosent people will at last be heard, no matter how you hide it, the truth of who started and promoted genocide, there is a day it will unvail itself

While no one should be charged vaguely, unfairly or without due process, the idea that what happens in one country is no other country's business is - or at least should be - a thing of the past. While there are certainly specific cases in which this assertion has been correct, often it has been little more than a way for leaders of countries, big and small, to avoid accountability for wrongdoing.
Nevertheless, it would be better for such indictments to come from a judicial arm of the United Nations. It is a simple concept of justice that neither the accuser nor the accused should also serve as judge.
I agree with president Kagame a Spanish judge has absolutely no rights in Rwanda's affairs. What makes westerners think they have the right to dictate what African leaders can and can not do. Why didn't Spain attempt to stop the genocide, France and many other European countries supported the brutal murders of innocent Tutsi/Rwandese people, Why did they sat around and allow those murders to continue. President Kagame went in and save his people and now is developing Rwanda to it's fullest potential.Long live President Kagame, May the Most High continue to guide and protest your family.
Rwanda has plenty of innocent and civilized intellectuals who have a real vision for the country - if they are given a chance. Kagame is just the same all pilato from Uganda who holds the gun over the head of the entire nation hoping to convince everyone one day that every other rwandese is stupid but Kagame. What a shame! I don't think many Rwandese man and women(tutsis, twas and hutus... you name it) will lose sleep over Kagame's indictment/arrest. In fact we should be assured that that criminal's days are counted. How many more days in dictatorship does Kagame think he is buying by arm-wrestling the French? The facts are well known - believe it or not - RPF killed way more innocent civilians in numbers than interahamwe even though the rwandese consitution just got changed to say "only" tustis were killed by rwandese criminals. Shame on you Kagame. I wonder if that includes the tutsis you have been killing yourself or if that's just the one you keep fooling everyone that you have saved--- yea right! We know better. Kagame knows that fact and he knows everyone knows - all kagame is doing is buy time before he shortly is sent to his well deserved home (where he's sending the spanish judge). Pinochet was arrested in England, and the laws did not change much in Kagame's favor since then. Kagame will be arrested somewhere in he West as well... soon. The facts are coming together. Maybe this gives you and him the idea why the spanish judge has implied jurisdiction over Kagame.Got it fool? or need some more education?

Kagame is very sick. He is pround because of support from some british and USA authorities. But he has to know that British and USA can not sacrify their bother Spain because of him. The French people says that between brother and friend the choice is clear. If Kagame is clever, he can get a lesson from his predecessors like Charles Taylor, Mobutu, Saddam...who were Bitish and USA's fruits. We support Spanish judge in his pertinent decision. Kagame knows where he put the four millions souls and bodies of Hutu and Congolese people. We ask Spanish judge to find too the one who shot on President Habyarimana's plane in 1994. That person is the cause of genocide in Rwanda.
