Will someone pls tell me, why people must sing in English to become idols; Arent Africans proud of their heritage? Music started in Africa. Its funny that to become an idol you must sing like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross! How about singing like Miriam Makeba, Franco, Papa Wemba, Kofi Olomide or even Fadhili Williams!!! The 3 Judges are a bunch of ignorant,arrogant and rude novices in music! Who picked them???? Angie is a radio presenter who didnt even study radio presentation and music! TK simply owns a music enterprise and does not appreciate African music no wonder Zimbabwe has nothing to offer in the music scene. This guy should be on the forefront promoting Zimbabwean music! as for SCAR, I have no words he should have stayed at home, no wonder he thought they were jinxed in Malawi! Gosh! its annoying.

the judges i think they are cool. Angela is too polite and sometimes she does'nt trust her own judgement,TK is cool but his judgment is not always good. Scar! well he is hash but i just love his judgement. he is the best, most of the times Angela makes Scar look as if he does'nt know what he is doing but his judgement is the best. he should never doubt himself. I mean realy from Kenya! what kind of a judge will one get, those poeple can'nt sing so everything sounds good to Angela. Scar is the guy and the judge. without his coments, i wonts enjoy idols.

Well from what i have seen so far, this east african judges are the worst judges i have ever seen in the idols competition worldwide.They actually do not know anything about music especially TK and Scar. I wonder what criteria they used in selecting this judges. They are really inexperienced and have an extremely bad way of analysing music. Personally, i feel Scar is extremely rude and arrogant and should be cautious of the fact that he's been watched worldwide. i really think TK and Scar especially should not be signed up for the next east/south african idols.Judges that are very good analysers like dede, nana and dan foster of west african idols and also people like simon, randy and paula of american idols should be sought for. I am an expert in analysing music and i can tell that TK and Scar really do not know what they are doing. Please change them. Africa should not be disgraced.

I must commend all the 3 Judges of the Idols East & north Africa cos i think they are doing a good job so far. I love Scar ! Ur doin well, and Angie..i think ur pretty, and intelligent. However, i was not pleased with the judges decision on the Twin Boys who were auditioned together. No two contestants should be auditioned together, whether they are twins or not. I think they are seperate individuals and should be treated that way.This was the reason why the judges had a basis for comparism.I believe if the boys had seperate auditions, his brother would have made it as well. Hey! i think Lusaka has got a lot of talent, but our judges kind of looked for a ready made idol there, if i could i will take Tanzanian golden tickets and give them to those Lusaka people, and yes the twin judgement was'nt faer at all. Besides that the judges are still cool, but i wish Angela could stop degrading Scar's judgement because she's making it hard for him to judge hornestly and yet his judgement is the best living aside his hash comments. I love the Idols show. I love Angie, she is reasonable and very encouraging. Keep it up sweetie. As for Scar, I think although harsh, he is also quite reasonable. TK....... I feel he is over critical and most of the times does not realize talent when he 'hears' it! All in all, I think the East Africans are not as well endowed musically as their West African counterparts (West African Idols). There is lack of good talent so far and there are alot of embarrassingly primitive/bad looking people coming for auditions. I wish everyone all the best.

oh, one more thing. I feel that some of the people who have gotten golden tickets did not deserve them. E.g. the girl who wore two different long earings and something on her head. She sucked!!!!!

Generally, those who cried mayb they deserved a chance to sing. Those of who were turned down (very many of them) by Scar mostly, they deserved it but not the bad comments that came after.i think Scar is ok for shortlisting candidates , he is blunt and thats gud but he showed tone down a little.

Can somebody save us from the painful experience known as Idols East and West Africa! Gosh it has never been so gross. It’s bad enough watching some of the contestants wail, murmur and do everything but really sing; however the real pain is watching such inept judges utter rubbish day to day. If only they make constructive criticisms that have to with the songs. How can any one take them seriously when they cannot even be analytical apart from asking almost every one to sing “I will always love you”- Whitney Houston. Must everyone have the same tone, must they all sing soprano? What a shame!

If only they could be humble about being so mediocre. No! They go one to make fun of people when they themselves are so below average! True, there is a lack of good talent in the region but those in glass houses should not throw stones.

So far it’s only Angie that makes some sense. A case of in the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Scar is rude and deaf quite alright but who gave him the right to run people down the way he does? If he was to stick with critiquing the songs, it would be fine but then he goes on to talk about their lives. None of your business, boy! I agree with everyone that the judges have no clue what they are looking for.But Scar is cute, Angela is hot!! except when she overdoes the make-up and TK is cuddly.

Anela is doing a good job as a judge. I urge her to continue. I do NOT agree with those that said she is not suppose to be amonge the judges because she is not a musicain. TK, Scar and Angela are doing good work.

My advise for Trinah is that she should not be carried alway by Eric love. Love can wait after the context, the contact is already established. This is the time to concertrate. I am one of you fan; keep doing the good work.
