President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will Wednesday join 17 other world leaders in launching the Africa Commission in Denmark. The Commission, intended to formulate new strategies to strengthen international cooperation with Africa, is being proposed and chaired by Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
stanley i cant agree more with you that the president is traveling too much and nothing much is accomplish from her visits; she need to stay home and run the government and learn to defer responsibility to her diplomatic corps to handle meeting with foreign leaders. it cause the country money to sponsor these trips for the president and her staff, money that could be spent on developing the country. liberia need every penny it can get to help with the developement with that country.i do not mind the president traveling and advocating on behalf of the country if she is able to come back from her trip with tangeble proof that the country benefited from the trip through investments and cooperations instead of empty promises that never get met.
Why can't Sirleaf go for medical check-up at JFK medical center? when was the last time she heard George Bush going to a foreign country for medical treatment? why dont she follow his example.

It is very sad to notice that Ms. Ellen Sirleaf of Libeia is running her presidential's office in the air. Too many travelling in the midst of mounting problems in Liberia. For emamples the executive Mansion she said she would build in two weeks' time if her sponsored Taylor's rebels destroyed it,the repair of a major bridge between waterside and Vai town are yet to come and health care in the country is at all time low etc. It is about time that Ellen Sirleaf and her select group to know that in modern day society, lot of things can be accomplished through one'e diplomatic mission abroad than being on every scene. If she does not trust the compitent of the mission abroad, close down and run the mission in Liberia. Ms. Sirleaf, you are not living by what you preached in the past.Cut down the foreign travel and save the needed currency for better of the people of Liberia. Why can't you go to John F. Kennedy Hospital for medical check up but USA? Stanley
