The situation of malnutrition is going to get worse with the recent hike in the prices of basic consumer goods including rice our stable food. The invisisble hand of suppply and demand must work as a result of the global increase in petroleum product there is the spill over effect on other complimentary good that is directly a result of the usage of petroleum products for their production.

However, the government have to be able to address the issue because the future generation needs to be strong and healthy if Liberia future is to remain promising. OCHA needs to address the crisis in reinstituting the feeding programs in schools that existed during the Sawyer administration even though the government in power now is an elected but the situation in Liberia is work in progress and not all infrastaucture development the people still need to be assisted in many aspects of thier livelihood
