The Southern African Development Community has warned Zimbabwe that it will accept no more excuses from the Zimbabwean Electoral Commission (ZEC) if it fails to release the results of the Zimbabwean presidential elections by Saturday.
I fully agree with you. the sooner we get rid of mugabe the better. zimbabwe is the only country in the southern region that has no stabillity and it is so disturbing. our leadres should puts their hads together . i salute mrs jacob zuma it is true yes african leader should do more about it. why dont we stand up against mugabe and say hey dictators are not allowed in the SADC region, or els we expell him from SADC.and also ban all zanupf senior official from traveling in the region and froze their assets. the big quesition here is are we ready african for democracy, transparency?
Evan Davies, we do not need an anglo-Briton press conference and a loud speak. The southern Africa countries are leading the effort and it is working. UK and other anglo countries (Australia, neazealand, etc) should solve their own problems in Iraq. We southern Africans do not want another iraq in Zimbabwe. Whenever britons and other anglos get involved, everything goes down! Anglos are not the answer to peace in Zimbabwe. You, anglos like to pretend that you real care. What you are interested in is a small spoiled anglo minority community in Zimbabwe, not the majority. Please keep your long pointed pink noses in Iraq and Afghanstsan, until you solve the problems there!
Phiri, you are so anti white that you can't see straight. It is not their fault that instead of looking out for our kith and kin as they do, we kill our kith and kin. Just ask Mugabe and recently the leaders of Kenya. How many black people killed black people - and for what? For political power and tribalism. When they lift that hand and strike, they know full well that they are killing their own kith and kin. So who is to blame?
president thabo mbeki should be removed as mediator on zimbabwe political crisis. first of all his silence diplomacy policy is not working at all.i was very disapointed to hear him on bbc television saying that there is no crisis in zimbabwe. he has lost it and i think the quicker we get someone to replace him the better for zimbabweans and south africans since our country is almost to be taken over by zimbabweans who are fleding violence and starvation.
he is very lose friend of robert gabriel mugabe, he will never ever confront him or criticise him.thy have the same ideas he also wanted to cling into power. i think it is about time that africans change our political system. we should do away with all baby boomers we need fresh blood. yes they fought for independent that was then abd this is now , what i dont understand with the is like they wanted to own the country turn it into their personal property as if they fight alone in the liberation strugle. it is about time that cut term of president in the office. and even if the ruling party wins i think it willbe best if they choose another person to be the president.
the solution to zimbabwe politic
al crisis is to remove mugabe before he kill more people and roon the country beyond repair. he has jad his faire share it is time to leave. and for those neigbouring country they should remember one thing that, once the war broke out in zimbabwe they are the ones who are going o suffer more because in one way or the other they will also be at war. so lets act noe the toothless AU should start to learn how to bite. as for presidnt mbeki if he thiks that he will do as his friend mugabe in south africa he should thinktwice the world is moving only in one direction that is west. and i have a quesion for him what hapen to his reinasance of africa and good governance? dont he think that africa and the world has given him an oportunity to put his ideas into practice and to set an example by dealing with zimbabwe crisis properly , but as usual he disapointed south africans, african national congress, africa ,au and united nation by choosing the wrong method, goodbye mbeki

There really needs to be a multi-nation military effort to rid Zimbabwe of the parasitic ZANU-PF party. And soon, before many more thousands die for the greed and hubris of a very very few.
