A Belgian politician stated that a top official of the former Rwandan presidential party the National Republican Movement for Democracy and Development (MRND), Edward Karemera, accused of 1994 genocide, was rather an open man, in his testimony before the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR).
