Rwanda has of recent constructed some of the most outstanding road networks in the country's history. This has greatly improved people's lifestyle, mobility and business.
Good point, and it is about time it is noted.. The education about road safety is also a responsibility of drivers/motorists. They have to be extra-cautious and yield to pedistrian no matter what green light they are facing. This is rule # 1 even in countries where pedistrians are educated. It should be more so the case in Rwanda while people are learning the new traffic codes. Development of infrastructure has to consider that reality, and create crossing points for less confortable pedistrians who are in big numbers,... Like-wise for bike lanes, side-walks etc.
