North and Southern Sudan have reached a tentative agreement on Abyei, ending a new round of fighting over the area in the recent past. It includes an immediate ceasefire and the removal of armed groups from Abyei town.
Why is it that Africans in oil producing regions of Africa are always fighting??It is time for African leaders to learn how other countries in Europe, and America distribute their oil revenues, and follow their examples to ensure peace, and progress.Look at what is happening in The Delta region of Nigeria, and in the oil producing area in Sudan It is now that oil in costing over $130 per barrel that they can raise revenue to develope their countries instead of fighting for the sharing of the oil revenues while foreign companies make money in their land, and carry home their profits. It is shameful!!!.
