Ahaaa! i think thus very bad and selfishness what people of Souh Africa did, because this is not the foreigners problem but that the problem of theirs, they dont want to go to school, they dont want to work they just sitting and waiting someone to work for and thug people stilling their things that has worked for thats very very bad your saying that we can still campagning for what we want but your still hosting the World Cup?your just kidding my brethern because we people we are the foreighners and we will going to have mantha we will be scares to come there because of your behaviour then what wil be a result no foreighner coming there to watch the match we are the people who helps your government to make money because of our hardworking so its better to behave than doing things like animals. its not like that have a human heart so that God should bless us together try to solve the problem fast.any country its the duty to keep foreigners and help oneonather, we work and we contribute t the country at the sametime, and my worry is why dont you give our people a warning for maybe one or two weeks to vacate in your country instead of killing and give them wounds and scars and coming back without their possesion if you were your side happenng like that how can you feel that is not good your the big Devils take care you can receive the revenge somewhere,

I'm embarrased by the current xenophobic events in our nation. Africa belongs to all those who inhabit her (whether "born-and-bred" or "foreign") and South Africa is Africa.

We are all children of the same creator - our Mighty God - and His word commands us accordingly - “When an alien (foreigner) lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born.” Leviticus 20:33-34

We now need bold, caring and visionary leadership from the fathers of our Nation - South Africa in particular & the Continent to calmn the situation and enforce the law of the land which our fathers and forefathers died for - that of equality and comradeship.

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance …will arise from another place… But who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14

Tomorrow is Africa Day - it is time for Africa to Arise, Love, Care and Support One another - instead of killing each other for short term gains which are criminal.

Africans - South Africans I love you and May God forgive my Generation.

It is really a big shame for South Africa as a whole. The South African government has failed its own people, the foreign nationals, Africa and the world at large. I understand that most of these trouble causers are lazy people who does not want to work or study. All this, is the problem of very poor governance. You can blame these looters for the xenophobic attacks but remember, "LIKE FATHER LIKE SON." They are doing exactly what the government is doing, the only difference is that the government indoors and controls the media. Now South Africa have created enemies in their own courtyard. What do you expect from South Africans, if a "PRESIDENT" to be believes that washing your genitals after having intercourse with an HIV infected woman washes away the disease! What do you expect from South Africans, when their president said, "there were no crisis in the neighbouring Zimbabwe." Yet his own government and people were complaining about Zimbabweans running to his country for help i.e asylum. Everyone knows about the current situation in Zimbabwe as a country what they are going through. Why making a fool of yourself Mr President? We are going to campaign against S A hosting the World Cup!

You can campaign all you want, we will still host the world cup!!! As for all those who feel saomehow South Africa is obliged to look after the poor, educated, harrassed foreigners, why don't you give them asylum in your own countries? Why should it be the responsibility of a corrupt South Africa to look after everyone on the continent. Why don't they go to other African countries? We are tired of everyone else expecting for South Africa to carry the continenet. We are a new country, still trying to find our footing, please give us the chance to do that!! Come back after fifty years when we have enjoyed the fruits of our hard earned democracy!! Our children, brothers, sisters, parents died trying to get us this freedom, not for our neighbours, or for other Africans, for us and us only, so please let us enjoy at least the next fifty years without eveyone husling us, try Europe , America or China for crying out loud! Just leave us alone!!! Go back to your counties and do whatever it is to restore order there and stop involving yourselves without our corrupt President who according to you knows little about Aids but you and all the experts still do not know how to cure it but have the nerve to tell others what is right or wrong! Leave us alone with all that is ours and stay in your countries, fight the injustices there or go to other more welcoming countries, but do come to ours, we need a break from all of you, please!!!!

Jabu from Olarndo, remember what I said, "LIKE FATHER LIKE SON." What then should I expect from you!!!! You need Jesus Christ in your life. Next time before responding to any of the matters regarding these issues, please "PRAY." All human beings are the creation and the image of Almighty God. Our bodies houses the spirit of God. What power and authority do you have to take someone's life or merely ask them to leave your so called South Africa. How do you expect to enjoy South Africa yet your other Jabus don't want to work let alone studying? Up to now thats why some of the people like you Jabu are still not allowed to enter some shopping malls. Accept this, you should learn to accommodate others when they are in need. You Jabu, I mean you! You need help! Your attitude is pathetic. We are all human beings for Gods' sake. For your own information I originate from 'your' South Africa. If you are failing in yourlife don't blame it on others, smacking other people's heads onto the walls. Look around yourself, you have got great potential that if you make use of it, never in a lifetime would you ever cause trouble with anyone. You will actually help these troubled foreigners in your homeland. Think and do something Bro.

What makes you believe that you have more right to live in this country than anyone else? Should every South African living and working in England, America, Mozambique and Nigeria etc. be violently attacked and chased away just because their family hasn't lived there for the last 10 generations? How far does your family lineage go back in SA, really? If you go back far enough you'll most likely find that you aren't REALLY South African anyway. "Bantu-speaking Africans, whose descendants make up the overwhelming majority of the present-day inhabitants of South Africa, had moved south of the Limpopo River by about 1,500 years ago...Bantu speakers came from West Central Africa north of the Congo River near present-day Cameroon" (http://countrystudies.us/south-africa/3.htm). So if we all want to get technical about whose country this really is, about who really BELONGS then we should all be packing our bags and leaving the Khoisan to live in peace in THEIR COUNTRY, seeing as they're the only TRUE SOUTH AFRICANS. But hey, I don't see them getting all up in arms over the rest of us...

With all apologies, you should be ashamed of your comment. considering the plight of Africa as a continent, one expects every african to be sympathetic towards other african. by the way, if other africans are too much in your country, there are many more corteous ways of teling them to leave; not by killing them and looting their properties. You talk the way you do because war has not come to your country. With your 'nice' precedence,I wonder how a prosperous future zimbabwe will accept you or your children as refugees when the horseman of war alights on south africa. I hope he doesn't.

Jabu !!You are one of those hypocrites leading this xenophobic episodes. I think if you had read the good books of history and mastered the subject well, what would have first come into your mind will be South Africa before 1990. Does that ring a bell in your memory? You even have the audacity to say S A is the the country to shoulder the rest of African problems, can you enumerate what these problems are which your beloved nation is shouldering?

Don't worry great empires had existed and fallen like the Roman ,Asyrian and the rest. You think apartheid is dead already/ We don't pray for it's return but mind you, when you were been scourged under it's heat , S.Africans were been welcomed everywhere and treated with respect. Today it's the turn of Zimbabwe in particular to suffer it's own "apartheid" , and you are egoistically calling for the opposite they offered you.

Perharps you were born in the 1990s as your shallow mentality leads me to think and didn't witness the troubles. Find out facts before commenting.

Grow up boy for tomorrow the same guys who made your parents suffer may resurface. Hakuna matata.(MEWENTI) PAS DES PROBLEMES , TROUBLE NO DEY. ALL FOR GOD

What goes around comes around Jabu! Those South Africans against Xenophobia will stay sanctified and as for you and others in collaboration with Xenophobia will get the same treatment in dissimilar ways. Who is professing that Zimbabwe and other African states will ceaselessly beg or forever want to lead a particular type of existence in South Africa? Tables turn my friend. South Africans give sermons so much about Ubuntu, and the so called Rainbow nation for ordinary men and women like you to learn, but my mind tells me everything falls on a deaf ear. I have three things for you Jabulani from Orlando No 1) You are not a true African No 2) You are not a true African and No 3) You are not a true African!!! I don’t know which part of planet you exist from.May the Load Bless you and forgive all your sins. I urge all the people of goodwill in South Africa to join hands in fighting such ideologies. This is the very time for the South Africans to make friends with all the African countries more than ever. South Africa needs the support. Who will even support your team during the world cup? Who will even help South Africa In times of trouble? Look at what happened to China no one knows when disaster strikes but they have people around them coming to aid after the aftermath of an earthquake. Where is Ubuntu Republic of South Africa? Mr Speaker Sir (The President Mr. Mbeki) It is time to come up with Damage Control Policy and implement it to work before and after 2010 World Cup. Ubuntu should be a subject at your schools. I want to still believe in The Republic of South Africa, A South Africa without Xenophobia playing poker in its territory.

FYI the white community is helping out black brothers.Remember the triumph of evil is for good man to watch and do nothing. We should be encouraging good people in South Africa to map the way forward. We black people should be improving our selves and our own surroundings. The question is, What are we doing about it! Shame on South Aficans. Its unfortunate that you are treating people who were also created by God in that way. Am working in a fuel company together with south Africans, Zimbabweans but we are all one.Created by God, Remember what the Bible says about the punishment for Disobeience Leviticus 26 veses 14 - 46 you will be punished seven times for disobeying his lawas and commands. Verse 36 He will make te those who are in Exile so terrified that the sound of the a leaf blowing in the wind ill make you run,ou will run as if you were being pursuedin battle and you will fall when there is no enemy near you. Yopu will stumble over one another when no one is chasing youand you will be unable to fight against the enemy. Think about that Judgement day in the book of Revelations where by we will be judged by our works no discussion on the judgement day you wont have time for bribes, All people will witness that. Imagine killing your friends. Think about that. Remember in the Book Leviticus 25 verse 23 The land we have does not belong to us it belongs to God we are like foreigners who are allowed to make use of it but its not our.

Woneo: Mugabe is responsible for his own sins. He did not MAKE anyone in South Africa murder and maim foreigners/refugees. That is THEIR own sin. There are ways to deal with crises without resorting to the brutality and savagery that is driven by hatred and lack of decency. Get your heads out of the sand and see the writing on the wall. This behaviour is unfortunately typical of Africa - it started way before the colonialists arrived and is called TRIBALISM. The Xenophobic attacks in South Africa are denting the image of South Africa. These attacks are opening a gap for the enemies to take advantage of S.A. What makes it worse is that these attacks are made by people who are affacted by porverty to their own equals. This should be a wake up call to the South African government to listen to their citizens and protect the citizens by having a boarder between countries. I,ve been reading and listening to non South Africans making comments about this whole issue!First of all do not assume that the people in informal settlements(shanty towns) are lazy to work or study. These people have been failed by the s/a education system, where majority of the teachers can't even read or write english(because all those who failed to gain university enrty ended up in teachers training colleges)

The government has left them to live an impoverished life in shanty towns while they, their friends and close family members enjoy lavish lifestyles.

I know for a fact that these people are desperate to work, they walk for 20mile,going to knock on everyones door in the surburbs looking for minor jobs like gardening or ironing.

I dont approve of the attack on foreigners but lets face the facts most of themdo end up doing crime because they can,t find work.My husband was shot by a Zimbabwen, his leather jacket was taken off him by mozamiquens,my mothers house was broken into by south africans,my sisters house was broken into by zimbabwens, when my husband and i tried to det married we found out i was married(without my permission) to a nigerian.....my point is that we already have our own issues as a country,we realy do not need foreigners adding on those problems
