First of all, Ethiopia has a legitimate right to decide on any issues concerning foreigners, whom on their own interest denied their Ethiopianess. Those extremist Eritreans always cry the old song of deportation, denial of entry etc. But the truth is Ethiopia has deported only the suspected Shaebia cells and has a legitimate right at any time. All deportees were transported by bus after they settle their business in Ethiopia. They had a right to leave someone after their properties. Those who had ´Bank loans, the bank has lost its money even after selling their megre property.

Let me ask one question for the extremists. While Shaebia and many Eritreans were exploiting Ethiopia, Shaebia expelled 125,000 Ethiopians between the period of 1991-1995 without any preparation even to take any single cup (pls see book by prof. Tekeste Negash of Ertirea ). And then more than 100,000 were deported during and after the war after prison, bitings, cutting hands, fingers and blinded eyes. Some of those whom lost their eyes or fingers or legs are still alive and their interview is well documented. More than 5000 died and disappeared (this includes the 200+ women raped and killed by shaebia soldiers. those who were cuptured later in the war). So What is the cry now and then? what are this people celebrating? Don't you guys feel the pain of others? Extremism does not take us any where. Ethiopia and its government is extremely kind for Eritreans still now and many Eritreans are flying to Ethiopía and many of the soldiers are seeking asylum in Ethiopia every day. There is no any reason that Eritreans would consider Ethiopia as enemy. Please wake up and let us fight poverty and develope our countries. Cheers

It is really disturbing to read such distorted comments from one of the Woyane cliques'remnants trying to cover all the atrocities which was caused to our hardworking fellow eritreans residing in Ethiopia,1998.Woyanes jingoism was only concentrated in rulling Ethiopia in iron fist just to revange against the ruling amhara regimes.They first claimed that they wanted to creat a nation-Tigray,like Albania.These imbeciles never been out of the bushes and watched what was going on in in the Eastern Blocks especially Albania.They were told to rule Ethiopia by Shabia which they ultimately listened,but once they realised that they had the power and could revenge against anyone whom the thought discriminated them,they started war against us by starting a ridiculous campaign,to get support from the ethiopia masses.They got support to some extent but that much to admire.As everyone knows,the woyanes are Pathologically liars(Mythomaniacs).Misinfromation is part of Woyanes of life.Look what Psychopatic Meles Zenawi does.He never repeats what he said in an interview. I am an Amharha brought up in Addis. During Mengistu time my mum was going to get murdered (Keyshiber) with our neighbour who origin from Eretria they both made a promise to look after each others kids if one is to die and the other to survive. During Meles time they were asked to leave Ethiopia and the Lady left their home to my mum to sell and send the money to them which happened after 7 years when we were able to establish contact. As a matter of fact I happen to bump into our neighbour's kid here in London. I have no knowledge of all cases and I can be sure that not all Entrains left Ethiopia smiling. While I was in Addis I have heard that Ethiopians that were treated badly in Eritrea. Blaming one another is not going to help anyone. What we need to do is teach our kids to be good neighbours or if all carry on teaching hate rate we are all well set to loose and never win. Please in the name of God lets teach our kids better than this. Me personally I can make sure none of my kids will die for no one its bad enough our elders have done that. Just think of it as a person not a politicians.

The present Ethiopian government came to power in 1991 after defeating the regime of Col. Mengistu Hailemariam. The regime currently in power constituted members of the former rebel movement that fought for an indepndence of Tigray, a region with 3.5 million people in northern Ethiopia. To pave the way for an eventual independent Tigray it drew up a map incorporating territories of neighboring regions including Ertrea. Then with the help of the US and EU started a murederous war with Eritrea that claimed more than 150,000 lives and displaced over 2 million ppl. Members of regime have amassed huge sums of money in foreign banks while poor Ethiopians are starving and dying in wars instigated by the regime in cohorts with its western supporters. These same supporters aim to quinch their insatiable appetite for the resources of the planet and could care less about the lives of African. But, to hide their real intentions employ the so called journalist from BBC, NY Times and others to disiminate out right lies.
