Militants in the restive Niger Delta region claimed yesterday, that their fighters had attacked the Chevron oil facility located at Abiteye Olero crude oil line near Escravos, resulting in the shutting down of operations at the terminal which produces more than 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
