Another public procurement disaster which Tanzania seems to have developed a specialism in. This is the consequences of the culture of corruption using shadowy middlemen specialising in white collar fraud as ' procurement experts'in order to realise a few ' pennies' as kickbacks. This airline venture is a project that will waste public funds and deliver a shoddy service like its its earlier version. The Govt needs to get out of the commercial airline business and get competent partners from the airline business to do the job.
