African people fought for freedom which ultimate objectives are the reclaiming their lands and resources. The apartheid ideology was based on the laws dispossessing South African from their lands, and the subsequent creation of the reservoir dubbed “homelands”. The famous law is known as the Land Act. The so-called South African 1994 independence remained a hollow concept. The lands are still owned by the apartheid ideologist minority. Nothing changed in South Africa. Ghettoes are still there. IT HAD NEVER BEEN MUGABE’S LAND REFORM THAT KEEPS THE SITUATION IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN GHETTOES SO DESPARATE AND MISERABLE! South African farmers remained so desperately landless. A generation of South African opportunists replaced to some extent avidly the apartheid caciques. The economy and finance remained in the hands of the former apartheid bosses, who from the bunkers in which they barricaded themselves, are calling every single major shot in the ANC South Africa. Chinese and Russians helped Mugabe defeat the fascist Ian Smith minority regime. He then recovered the lands that such clique did dispose Zimbabweans from. By using their veto Chinese helped Zimbabweans consolidate the gains of their sacrifices: their lands. The MDC is the creation of the Anglo-Rhodesians who, after their defeat are being organising from South Africa the geopolitical war of attrition as to conquer back the lands they for good lost. I would like to know if you have the same mentality of the so called colonials or apartheid govt whatever happend in the passed is passed. The people living in the country are citizens despite them being of any race colour or creed. Some of the farmers in Zimbabwe actually bought the farms after 1980 Independance from the Mugabe GOvt even though they may have been white. How could they have robbed the land then? You all reason like IDIOTS and Africa will deserve the rulers and despots that they have. 50 years from now your new colonialists will be calling the shots and supporting new dictators AKA the Chinese they also just want your resources show me how many "african refugees" are in China or India why do you all want to go to Europe? This article is very stupid. America is the reason for problems in the world today and to speak so poorly about Russia and China which both have one of the richest and largest economy in the world is disgusting. The U.S would have done nothing to regain Zimbabwe's dignity if the U.S cared so much why don't they send there troops like they did to Iraq to save the people of Iraq from the evil Saddam Hussein...oh i forgot Zimbabwe doesn't have what the U.S wants. People in Iraq are finding life much worse than under Saddam and that's a fact. If you believe this propaganda spread by America you are disillusioned. Yes maybe what Russia and China are doing is bad but even if they agreed nothing would have changed. Only Zimbabwe can solve there problems its an inside problem something a western mentality will never fix but exploit.

this is an excellent editorial. Whatever the faults of all the other imperialists, the latest entrants have truly bought the worst type: get what you want regardless of the cost. After all, Russia and china have learnt from the best-the USA and UK-that when a country is in chaos, the atmosphere for looting is very conducive.
