DESPITE South African Airways (SAA) incurring a loss of R1,09bn in the year to March, the state-owned carrier is in the best possible position to weather the storm assailing the global aviation industry.

The only way SAA is in a position to be well off despite their losses incured,(other flights doing the same routes had little problem)is they can ask for another bailout,SARS,will introduce another tax and hey presto BEE once again rides the skies.
