A special commemoration program for victims and survivors of the July 29, 1990 St. Peter's Lutheran Church Massacre started here Monday with calls by the Catholic Church in Liberia for the establishment of a war crimes tribunal in Liberia after the TRC.

Why war crime court now? Something smiles fishy about this call. Is it now the Catholic bishop feels the need for justice to prevail in Liberia or because certain segment of the Liberian society alleged involvment is the driving force behind the call? I hope the above mentioned is not the reason, because the people accused to be the perpertrators of the heineous crime will defend themselves at every levels to clear their names.
