Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has threatened to seize foreign companies that support western-backed sanctions against his government - on the eve of possible breakthrough talks with his political opposition.

So the bright spark that has presided over the economic collapse of a country that was once the envy of its neighbours has been spending his time, according to the official govt mouthpiece the Sunday Mail, auditing foreign ownership of firms with a view to black empowerment(read reward sycophant ministers). but in the same editorial we also learn he will hand control of these firms to china??? I must be totally stupid as I cannot make heads or tails of this useless bit of fiction.

Well if he manages to do this it shows one thing and one thing only ..... he hasn't learned from his mistakes.

What he is threatening here is just like the industrial side of his original empowerment which crippled Zimbabwes Industrial sector and started the economic slide ..... and the Land redistribution plan which was done in such a way that it crippled the agricultural side of Zimbabwe, further destroying the economy.

Now he's looking at crippling some of Zimbabwes final industries, and what will be the economic and human effect this time?

I think Robert Mugabe is unequivocally confused and don't know where he stands right now. Isn't it for the same reason that his country economy is in a slammy mess today for revoking farmlands? Why can't this stubborned, retarded head, old and washed out bastard learnt some lesson and see what his country and people are going through? Or does the majority of the Zimbabwean people seemed to be amused by what is going on in their country that was once the bread basket of South African community? Can somebody do something? Africans are fed up with this dark cloud of tyrannical regimes. Mugame has done his time and has nothing else to proved; all he does right now is impositin upon his people in order to escape justice by whoever is the next president.
