A COUPLE of weeks ago, a reporter asked me to comment on the frequency with which political leaders were claiming they were misquoted in the media. She misquoted me.

In the crazy world we live in, the journalist is usualy beleived before the polits anyway we've heard it so many times we have become insensitised to hearing "I was misquoted" so we just assume he/she is lying anyway.
