THE new information age has provided Africa with an opportunity to increase and accelerate development for the benefit of its people through utilisation of information and communication technology (ICT).

Good article, good suggestions, good dreams, ... but feasibility!! It is true that the current rate of ICT development is high in Africa, but also some drawbacks hinder the sustainability of what have been built. Market regulation is not well developed even for South Africa, a country considered as an example in development. Monopoly is worsening the situation.
