I am really suspicious about all that! Mugabe can do anything to continue holding to illegitimate power! He had earlier threatened retailers with a state of emergency! Now these bombs, in a closely guarded security place! He has cronies around to start scaling up the pressure in favour of a future introduction of a state of emergency in case the MDCs do not budge about his remitting executive power!

Or, may be, he wants sympathy from Bush & Co on fighting terrorism!

All bleeding Zimbabweans with a motivation for revenge are now refugees in neighbouring countries. Who then to blame if not Mugabe's own cronies?

If, however, the bombs are the result of underground forces feeling desperate at the slow pace of change, all Africans should pray that the continent be spared such acts. Somalia is a constant reminder. We do not want murderous Mugabe to be replaced by people who shun peaceful democratic means to bring meaningful change.

The bomb was planted by ZANU (PF) people. I can tell you these talks are leading nowhere as ZANU (PF) will step up these terror activities and blame them on the Tsvangirai led MDC. ZANU (PF) leaders will not even hesitate to liquidate their own structures in order to blame that on Tsvangirai and MDC. Mr Tsvangirai and MDC: please be warned, you are dealing with the devil incarnate (Robert Mugabe) and the fallen angels (Mnangagwa and others). They will not rest until they get onto you. I want to strongly warn MDC (the real MDC led by the real opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai) and Tsvangirai that you are seeking a pact with the devil who profoundly hates you and wants to devour you. I strongly doubt that the devil genuinely wants to share his power with you. The devil only wants to use you to buy time for himself. So watch out. But I know that the MDC did not have any other option except to talk to Mugabe and ZANU (PF) especially after the majority of the AU and SADC leaders had recommended a GNU. Tsvangirai's snubbing of talks would have amounted to snubbing the African leaders and Mugabe would have used the snubbing to his diplomatic advantage. If Tsvangirai had snubbed Mugabe, he would have lost the support of most of the few African leaders that have since the March 29 elections decided to openly side with him especially the Western African states. It's a pity that most of these African leaders are either ignorant about Mugabe or do sympathise with him. Mugabe is as cunning as a fox; and as evil as the devil. Mugabe only entered these talks for two reasons: (a) because the economy is in a mess and (b) because a substantial number of AU countries had began to sympathise with Tsvangirai and support the talks. These talks will fail and Tsvangirai's top lieutnents might end up in jail accused of the bombings (perpetrated by ZANU (PF) people). Tsvangirai, himself might not be arrested because because Mugabe now fears the international community, which might be forced to intervene militarily if Tsvangirai is imprisoned. They will make sure they decimate all MDC structures so that Tsvangirai will be left with no arm to support him. But they will make sure Tsvangirai does not go out of Zimbabwe by refusing him a new passport. They will continously call him to courts as a witness in the trial of his supporters. That's the reason ZANU (PF)will give for refusing him a passport; that he might have a case to answer in the bombings. But they will make sure they do not arrest him to neutralise outrage from his international supporters.

First Mugabe releases criminals from prisons to make room for 'political prisoners', then bombs are detonated. It is all very suspicious to me. How did Mugabe know BEFOREHAND that room would be required for these 'political prisoners' whom we all know will be MDC supporters? Why did he also bribe his corrupt judges with Benzes, Toyotas and even generators? Mugabe knew full well that by detonating these bombs he would once again brainwash his morons and round up MDC supporters and imprison them on trumped up charges with the hope that the judges will be sympathetic to him. Hey the judges are sitting pretty with all the lavishing so why not give Mugabe what he wants and the brainwashed suckers will lap it all up

so basically if the current negotiations dont go well then Mugabe will use a new tactic to enforce emergency rule. This is going to get really messy.
