Flood waters across West Africa are intensifying health risks for millions of people, adding to the food price crisis. And International aid is needed as heavy rains are forecast to last until September, could exacerbate health threats for conditions including malaria, diarrhea and other potentially fatal communicable diseases.

With a little bit more of love and genuine devotion by the leadership in all these countries, many of the problems facing us will be solved. The opposition in each of these countries or in Africa as a whole, should realize that the path to progress in any country whatsoever is PEACE and this can be achieved with the cooperation of all the team players in the polity including, most especially, members of the opposition group. THE CONTINUOUS PROGRESS IN THE DEVELOPED WORLD IS PREMISED ON THIS SIMPLE PRACTICE. It may sound simplistic but Africa LOOK AND THINK. IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE AND NOT A SPECIAL GIFT LIMITED TO SPECIFIC COUNTRIES. From the writer's perspective, AFRICA DOES NOT NEED OPPOSITION PARTIES, WE(both government and opposition) SHULD GENUINELY COMBINE THEIR STRENGTH AND ROW THE BOAT OF THE NATION IN COMPLETE UNISON. THIS IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID OF THE PARTY!
