The criticism aimed at the Southern African Development Community has continued to grow this week after the regional body failed to facilitate an end to Zimbabwe's humanitarian and political crisis at a summit of heads of state in South Africa this month.

SADC? Already a household joke!
It's at the command of Mbeki. The Big Brother imposes its will over institution. Had it been even for a good cause, it's bad for democracy. But here it's worse since it is to protect an illegitimate tyrant who has sent millions of his able sons & daughters into exile in SA.
Was it not the same Mbeki who allowed Mugabe to transport deadly arms through its territory to further terrorise the Zimbabweans?
Until recently, Mbeki even questioned whether there was any crisis across the border.
Thanks God, the ANC has shown him the door.
