The daily killings in Somalia which President Afewerki refers to as genocide is being masterminded by the US but the ICC will always look the other way. Also President Afewerki refered to subversive external influence in the Sudan which everybody following the situation knows that the subversion n udan is the handiwork of the US. However, the ICC ironically decided to accuse the resident of Sudan to show the world is overtly, an AGENT OF THE US.

What do you call when thousands of innocent somalis are killed and maimed by the Ethiopian invaders with impunity? Are you rejoicing the death of Somali women and children and the displacement of countless civilians without food , medical care and shelter? isn't that enough for you to understand the true meaning of Genocide or do you blindly want to justify the massacre of Mogadisho residents by the mindless thugs who illegally occupy Somalia?

As long as Somalis, Djiboutians, Tutsis, Eritreans, Himas, Masais, Ethiopians and kanemis/fulanis don't realize that they are cushitic people, ancient people of dignity who knew God and righteousness before chritianity and islam, and instead struggle to be recognized as second class arab moslems or chritians, they will be subjected to genocide. People cannot deny who they are and survive. Afew imperialists know it

It sure is much worse than the Darfur issue which the US Adminstration was quick to condemn it as "Genocide".

Hi, It is simply astounding that, every godamn african dictator wants to blame the U.S.A, that is probably due to the rebuff the prickly president (issayas)has been getting, if we are to talk of GENOCIDE then the resposible leaders (Issaya&MELLES)SHOULD BE HELD RESPOSIBLE FOR THE LIFES OF 100,000 INNOCENT CITZENS.

I am working with the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants to help spread awareness of the inhumane conditions that many people around the world must cope with every day as refugees. I contacted you after visiting several pages on «Channel_Name», which I found at «Url», and hope that you will help.

While most children here in the U.S. are starting another school year, thousands of children languish in refugee camps. In all too many cases there will be no school for them to attend.

Our team documented the experience of people in the Shimelba refugee camp in Ethiopia. Out of the 14,000 refugees living there sadly 70% are children.

This is just one example of human warehousing, where refugees are trapped in camps for 5, 10, or even 20 years. They must struggle with food shortages, assault, lack of work, and other dire conditions that no one should have to live under.

Please take a moment to view footage from a recent trip to the camp, viewable at http://www.refugees.org/article.aspx?id=2214, and share the information. Anyone having a site of their own can help further by adding a link to the report so that more people will be made aware of the human warehousing issue and help these refugees find homes.

Isayas speaks with the authority of someone who has turned his own country from a beacon of hope into one big military prison camp.

It's always in Isayas's interest to say that everything is "unimaginably dangerous", because he thrives on the state of fear and alert that he uses to justify his and his cronies' deadly grip on Eritrea.

I am an African and i fully understand the point of view of the Eritrian president. Most of our current economic , political ,and social problems are linked to external inter- farences into African affairs . Some of it are our own making and the lack of effective leadership in managing our continent and its resources . So even though there will always be external subversive behaviour towards Africa , we can overcome if we unite as a people, as a community and indeed as one continent . The reason why Western powers are messing and plundering our backyard is because Africans have abandoned their duties and responsibilities as worthy citizens . Corruption, nepotism, injustice and the lack of political thought is rampant in African countries .How can we be respected and given our fair share on global affairs if we dishonour ourselves ? The solution to our problems is to reform our institutions and to respect and obey our constitutions .

I feel pain, I shed tears, and I writhe in pain as a Somali. I shed tears for the women and the children, for the dead and the massacred, for the helpless and the wounded. I have no strength to shed more tears, I have lost that. My sensitivity has turned to numbness. I'm lost and confused. I can no longer cry! But I have one feeling, one desire, one commitment, one clarion: it is simple and it is very, very simple indeed. That message is this: "Meles Zenawi, we will answer you."

Part2. The time when we will answer you is at our discretion, but we reserve the right to answer you and we will answer you and woe unto those who shall live by then for we shall overrun all your habitats. We swear by the One Who Created us and Our Nation; we will answer you in the most inimical manner even seen in man's history. Your posterity shall blame you profusely for the pain, destruction and utter ruin that shall be visited upon them. Part 3. It will be utter ruin, utter destruction and utter annihilation. There will no be clemency even to the trees. It will be a violent tornado that will uproot your people like palm trees uprooted from their roots, and what a sight! Woe unto you and those who support you! It may take even a million years, but we will answer you and woe unto you. The blood of the woman who breathed her last along the street because of your bullets will haunt you. Part 4. We will build monuments for her and her compatriots that you massacred, and your women shall be our concubines. This is a solemn promise that we made to God, to ourselves, to Eritreans our brethren and comrades, to you and to your filthy people. It is a solemn promise that will be met and fulfilled. The one who is waiting for tomorrow, tomorrow is nigh!
