When the Jews brought Jesus in fron of Pontius Pilate (Pilato), the Roman ruler did not find the charges true and he was also afraid of the Jewish population and Pharisians, so he washed his hands in front of them as in saying "I am not responsible for the life of this guy Jesus". Why didn' he release Jesus after he found no true charges against him? the answer to this is just that Pontius Pilate was not only a military officer but he was also a skilled politician. If he had released Jesus, the pharisians would have been mad and would have started telling the Jews to hate the roman rulers, and also imagine Pontius writing to his boss in Rome saying "there is a guy here called Jesus calling himself the king of jews and the people like him better than me". He could not afford such news getting back to his boss in Rome because would have been sacked from his position (politics). And he added "I know you guys have a tradition that close to Easter you guys have a tradition to release one criminal from jail , should I release Barabas or Jesus? Everybody screamed Jesus, Jesus. (where was that coming from? the pharisians told the Jews to say Jesus). So Jesus was crusified,...and JUSTICE IN RWANDA IS JUST LIKE THAT, JUST POLITICS FEAR FROM THE TRUE BOSSES, AND CONSPIRACY. The gacaca was a disaster for the country. The gacaca brought no reconciliation, in contrary. To much innocent people are in prison because of the gacaca. Take the case of my father in law, accused by a neighbour women. After 4 years he was declared innocent by the Butare justice, but he is still in prison. The gacaca didn't want to take the file, which proves his innocence, in consideration. The witnesses were forbidden to speak in favour of my father in law. The gacaca was nothing else than a bad theatre.

That's for sure!!. rwanda's judicial systems is a mess!

i am a Rwandan and i love my country to bits but i am disgusted of the authorities in Rwanda.

the procecution are persecutors themselves, i know this sounds harsh but i am afraid its true.

all you need is the network (who you know) then you can victimise as many victims as possible.

i am sorry but i am so bitter with justice system of the country.

if you need to know what i am talking about write to me; barbsrwangabo@yahoo.com and this is not even jenocide case!!

thanx
