Prosecution has expressed discontent over recent comments by former Burundian President Domitien Ndayizeye on the ongoing efforts to prosecute Burundian nationals who participated in the 1994 Genocide.

If he is innocent why to wonder?And if he is got involved in the genocide he would better give his testimonies and seek for forgiveness. In other words, bamukubite intahe mu gahanga...means "stand for trial"...If he is not guilty, he will be free.If he has played some roles,then go to jail and compansate. Otherwise,he will face the trial like other genocidaieres... No impunity to those who committed genocide or massacres in the great lakes region. Maisha Toronto/Canada
