From my point of view, the former first lady has all rights to appeal to the president of Liberia for her intervention in this matter. The late president Doe was her husband;not her boyfreind, so she is still the head of what ever late President left for them. Minister Jackson Doe being a blood brother to the late president still don't have right to make decision on her behalf.

Jackson Doe has no rights in claiming any property or money that the late president has. All property financial or real estate goes to the wife and children. Jackson Doe is just a brother and that is all the rights that he gets.

There must be a crisis between the former first lady and her so call brother-in-law. Insodoing, she has the right to her husband properties. It seems like She brought her family's matter to the president because Mr. Jackson Doe is not corporating with her family( Nancy and Children). This would all be a non0issue with a functioning legal system. The President has absolutley no reason to get involved in a property case like this, that's what judges and lawyers are for. Every Liberian should insist that the courts get themselves in order and serve the interest of justice.

By legality, Mrs Doe is the legal administrator of the Doe Estate. If it is really true as it is being explain by Mrs Doe of Mr jackson's doe action,then the court have to step in to hault any more action by Mr Doe. Let hin be responsible and handle this thing the right way before he disgrace himslef. I just want to see this issue handle peacefully and not turn into any family fued before someone else gets hurt. This matter is a serious one. The Liberian government and the courts should launge an investigation into how Doe acquired his wealth since he was the Head of State of Liberia. Surely Doe got some of his wealth legally but what was acquired orderwise should be returned to the government for the good of the country. The question I will like to ask Jackson E. I heard that Doe was an Ivoirian and a town was shown to me as his home town in ivory coast. Which one of them is a Liberian and which one is from the Ivory Coast ?

If this case is true then it is another case of Identity Theft that should be investigated. It is time we clean Africa of rouges. Having said that, it is disheartening to hear about foreign accounts and payment of 165,000 dollars for the return of the document. Where did all these monies come from? Are they Liberian money? I think this must also be investigated. While some of these warlords are claiming to be fighting for the people, they could actually be liars and traitors.
