I'm socked and disappointed by the idiotic content of this Article and the notion that kenya and Eithopia must invade Somalia and slave Somalis. This Article is yet another indication that some of our people (Africans) are incapable of understanding what freedom, democracy, and human rights are all about. It is hard to imagine that some East Africans are harboring such a hatred of this magnitude towards Somalia and the Somali people.

To defeat and silence such hate mongers, war mongers, and fascistic "Beast-man" barbarians such as the author of this hate and anti-Cushitic article and his inferior peoples, and to bring a lasting peace, security, development, and prosperity to our oppressed peoples and lands, I suggest the following:

The noble, proud, cultured, and intrepid Cushitic peoples of the Horn of Africa and East Africa regions must unite to defeat our centuries old enemies and to liberate our oppressed and colonized peoples and territories, and let us:

1. Found an international organization similar to the World Jewish Council in order to advocate for the sovereign rights, public and national interests, and human rights of our peoples, wherever they may reside.

2. Convene a Grand Cushitic Peoples Reconciliation Conference (GCPRC) to sort out and settle our minor differences and to reconcile and unite our peoples, and to come up with a common cause, liberation strategy, objectives and goals.

3. Put in place a united political, economical, social, and military machinery in order to liberate our peoples and territories or nation-states, once and for all, and

4. After liberation, let us form a Cushitic Union (CU) similar to the European Union (EU).

I believe that is all, we need to defeat our centuries old fascistic enemies, oppressors, and colonizers of our peoples and lands.

So let our people and lands suffer no more and begin to work towards this noble and just cause.

The sentiments put forward in this article are very regretable. The world has enough hatred and xenophobia already. We do not need the members of the Kenyan educated class suppoting such loathsome ideas as these.

It is a lot easier to contravene Kipkorir's idea than to come up with an alternative, but yet viable soloution for the quagmire in Somlia. How long this lawlesness is going to conitinue in such a strategic region of the World is anyone's guess. The Ethiopian troops, which number a couple of thousands at the most, and the 2600 African Union forces are a fraction of what is needed in such a diverse and massive territorry. The International Community lacks the willingness and readiness to undertake the enormous task of quelling decades of lawlessness and tragedy in such a pivotal piece of property along a major throughfare.

The same cannot be said about those bordering this archaich piece of property where human lives are worthless and tragedy ubiqutous. It is not only Ethiopia and Kenya which are suffering from the anarchy which is prevalent in Southern Somalia but Nations like Somaliland, Djbouti and Yemen. The de facto independent Puntland is actually falling into the hands of the daring pirates along the treacherous waters of the Gulf of Aden.

The international maritime trade is seriously affected by the lawlesness so much so insurance premiums on ships tranversing this region are multiple times the regular rate for other relative tranquil passages. Add to that the cost of the numerous navies ( France, USA, Canada, Netheralnd, Russia and so forth) who are trying to protect this vital shipping line the cost adds up to serious figures.

But as the author stated in his writing the biggest losers in the stateless state of affairs next to the indigneous inhabitants have to be Ethiopia and Kenya. These two Countries, without a doubt, have the most to lose from continous anarchy which is prevalent in the Nation formerly known as Somalia. They rather come up with a solution sooner than before the cancer spreads to their territories. The question isn't about quarantine, at this stage, but the very survival of these two so far realtive peaceful enteties. If they let Somlia burn without trying to extinguish the fire ,then, if not the flames, the toxic fumes will sure suffocate them.
