Perhaps, it may interest Nigerians, particularly, the good people of Kogi State to be informed about the current development at the on-going second election petition tribunal sitting in Lokoja, the state capital, where the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu is challenging the outcome of the March 29, 2008 re-run governorship election.

There is no need to lie as the minimum qualification required to be a governor is Secondary school certificate and not a University degree. Degree is only an added advantage. It is only in Nigeria that paper qualification is over emphizised. This makes many to want to aquire them by all means, legitimate or illegitimate. Prince Audu should drop the issue of certificate and concentrate on the election malpractices if he has sufficient proof or accept defeat in faith. The post is not meant for him alone. There are other Kogites more eligible than he does.
