Park station in downturn Johannesburg, South Africa teems with Zimbabweans arriving in the land of plenty in rattled buses that dramatise the escalating economic crisis back home.

Zimbabweans if you have the guts to brave crocodile infested waters to cross over to South Africa then why can't you brave standing up to Mugabe and Zanu and boot them out of power.I think it is better to die with pride fighting for economic freedom than to live in dehuman status in SA.Think!!!!!!!!!!!!
You want a war in Sierra Leone, massa Conteh. Disappointed??? We are not like you ex slaves. Dont worry, we will get there eventually. Actually the solution is around the corner. A night can last only that far. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Remember, the South Africans did not go to war against the white settlers but they got there. All born of a woman shall die one day. Hakuna chisingapereba!!!
Akapfunde, please remember that slavery is history now, it ended 200 years ago so expressing my opinion has nothing to do with being ex-slaves.The issue is that it is an open secret that Zimbabwe fought a bloody war for Independence and we admired your bravery at that time so what is the fear surrounding Mugabe?By the way Sierra Leone got its independence in 1961 on a silver platter.
Brave ss_3conteh ! Brave indeed that even though you are thousands of miles away in West Africa, your heart is with the suffering people of Zimbabwe. We want more people like you and me across Africa to drum up support for chasing away bloodthirsty dictators and promote genuine democracy across Africa.
You and I together with some others who have the true blood of Africa running through our veins and who want to raise awareness against dictators are often criticised by bootlickers of dictators.
I don't care ahoot about them. And I see you too are more determined to raise yourself to the challenge.
I say to Aka47 and likes, history has already condemned them for praising a bloodsucker murderer and vampire.
Let's not get distracted. I also come from a semi slave family. But that's decades ago. I have emancipated myself and I am proud. Aka47 who ignores the aequels of slavery and who was supposedly born into a free family ought to have covered more ground thna us, given that he had quite an advance on us on everything.
I now understand that people like Aka47 are mentally retarded folks and they have to cling to illusions fed by a bloodsucker who knows what to feed to his senile followers. Just whip up the anti Brirs or anti yankees emotions and you find people like Aka47 who come around like vampires on a corpse!
The world is ours! Definitely.
let the dogs bark, the caravan of truth will ... !
Sad. This is about probability theory as it relates to survival. Crossing the river gives one a chance of survival - the crocs may have eaten someone already hence are full-or they may be in another part of the river. Perhaps they will grab my colleague while I escape. The crocs also won't come after my family. Mugabe is different. Confronting if you are a small nobody means certain, painful death. He sends his hit squad after you, your children, your spouse, your father - and kills them all. Let's not pretend that they take you to court. These feared misfits simply slaughter you, that is why Zimbabweans have fled far and wide on the globe, and the less previleged have to risk being eaten by crocs. Solution: remove Mugab...really what else does he want after 29 years. All those that think he must stay, why can't they themselves take his role..why must one man rule a country for 3 decades?? Are the rest of the 12million so incompetent they must rely on this one "mad" individual?
Akapfunde, please know that slavery is now history as it ended 200 years ago so expressing my opinion has nothing to do with being ex slaves as you stated. It is an open secret that Zimbabwe fought a bloody war to gain independence and we admired your bravery at that time so what is this fear surrounding Mugabe?By the way Sierra Leone gained its independence in 1961 on a silver platter.
In overdrive and full speed ahead, the regime of Robert Mugabe endeavors to maintain its ruthless and repressive agenda. They overtly showcase a blatant desperation to stay in power with total disregard of the depressing economic conditions in the country and total disregard of the unceasing suffering for the people of Zimbabwe, who now oscillate between neighboring borders to fashion out a life and survive. Zimbabweans at home and abroad will never be able to reconstitute their lives as long as the incumbent regime remains on the driver’s seat.
