Prof. Abdullahi Bayero, Provost of Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE) in Sokoto State, said that the institution is seeking to employ 54 doctorate degree holders to meet National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines. Bayero told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recently in Sokoto that, the directive was sequel to the 18 first degree programmes being run by the college.
